Metro’s is a well-established steel fabricator with a wealth of diverse experience in supplying to the construction and resource sector over the past 16 years. A Western Australian owned and operated business that employs around 155 staff, many with intimate knowledge of steel fabrication and associated industries in Australia, Europe and South East Asia.
Metro’s is situated on a site of over 32,000 square metres in Bibra Lake. The property features extensive yard space for steel and finished goods storage and five main custom designed factories, for fabrication and housing the steel sales and processing business.
In order to be able to guarantee industry-leading service the group has invested in its own transport and mechanical repair facility. Also a large investment has been made in CNC machinery (over $3 million to date) that ensures Metro can deliver on cost competitiveness, lead times and accuracy in medium and heavy member steel fabrication.
Metro also has its own in-house drafting team utilizing state of the art STRU-CAD 3D drafting software that ensures guaranteed drafting capacity for shop drawings and other incidental on-site requirements.
